Actually I decided not to keep the watch. I was 100% sure when I saw it
in Basel earlier, but you know - things look different behind the glass of the
showcase than feeling it in your palms and and your wrist. Therefore, I decided
to place an order for one anyway since I was especially intrigued by the 40mm
size and beautiful matte dial.
I was right - I liked the watch a LOT more once I got my hands on it.
I like the larger size (not too big and fits my smallish 6.5" wrist just fine.
I actually like the lightning bolt controversial seconds hand and I ABSOLUTELY
LOVE the matte black dial which IMO should be the standard for SUB, SD & GMT.
However, a lot has changed since I placed the order. My grail watch (PP 5960P
- shown in my sig.) arrived recently and I decided not to keep the Milgauss after all.
It will be soon on Sales Corner.
As you can see - the photo shoot started with standard ‘for sale’ pictures and
only later I decided to have some fun and stage some nicer pictures.
I am just sharing them here - that’s all.
